Using The Library

Library timings: 7.00 am to 5.00 pm

Book Transaction

The students have to register their RFID enabled college Identity cards in the Library system. Books can be borrowed using your Library card and college Identity cards

Borrow

One book will be issued on the Library card for seven days.

Reference books will be issued on college identity card for reference in library only.

Return

The books should be returned as per the date mentioned on the due date slip on the last Page of the book. If the book is not returned on the due date a fine of Rs.1 will be levied.

Rules and Regulations

Wearing Identity Card is compulsory

Maintain silence and discipline in the library

Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library. Mobiles will be confiscated and a fine of Rs.100/- will be charged

Scanning of college identity cards on RFID scanner during entry and exit of library is compulsory

Writing on reading tables is prohibited

Writing on or tearing of library books is prohibited and punishable

Students can issue one book for a period of one week

Reference books and periodicals can be accessed in the library only

The Librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately

Loss of library books should be reported to the Librarian immediately

A fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged on late return of books

Refreshments and eatables of any kind is not allowed in the library

Smoking, sleeping and talking loudly in the library is strictly prohibited

Do not litter, make use of dustbin

Completion of projects, journals and assignments in groups is prohibited in the library

Students are prohibited from downloading any software on the library computers

Accessing social media sites on the library computers is strictly prohibited
